Here we will give more information about the Turkish classes we are offering this semester by trying to answer some questions that were asked by interested students.
How much do the classes cost?The classes we offer are free of charge.
What is the format? Is it a classroom lecture or a one-on-one study session?The classes will be in a lecture format but we do plan to assign native Turkish speakers as practice partners.
Where will the classes be held?The classes will be held at Benedict Hall room 1.122. (BEN 1.122)
Which days will the classes be held?The classes will be held every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning September 23 and ending November 26.
Do I have to attend both sessions? No, we arranged two days so those having a schedule conflict with one day can come to the other.
When will they be held?The classes will be held between 6:00pm and 8:00pm on the aforementioned days.
Is it okay if I have never studied it before?It is absolutely OK if you never studied before because we offer all levels of Turkish.
Will there only be beginner level material?No, we will teach all levels of Turkish at our classes.
Is there any supplies that we will need?As of yet, no supplies besides writing utensils are necessary. However, it is strongly recommended that you reserve a special notebook or a section of a notebook for this class because new material will build on old material. |
